ehaec is a creative art studio, ecological research station, and biointensive family farm. the collective is located alongside a 10 acre wildlife santuary within a wetland riparian complex at the headwaters of cascadilla creek in ithaca, ny.
our open art studio features contemporary ecological artists leading community workshops in all genres and mediums of creative expression - from painting, printmaking, and photography - to installation, performance, and new medias.
our ecological research revolves around projects on habitat enhancement and permaculture. the station facilitates seminars on a range of environmental topics - from biodiversity, sustainable site design, and invasive species removal - to micorrhizae, composting, and hedgerows
guided nature walks through the gardens and wildlands of the collective are available by request.
